Key Responsibilities:
● Execute comprehensive data analyses to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities across the SaaS marketplace, influencing strategic decisions for buyer and seller platforms.
● Collaborate closely with business, enterprise, marketing, and growth teams to understand their specific data needs, providing actionable insights to drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements.
● Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reports using data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI, ensuring stakeholders have clear access to pertinent insights.
● Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data by implementing robust data collection systems, analytics frameworks, and conducting thorough database queries, particularly in SQL environments.
● Lead efforts in database management and optimization, including the development and execution of complex SQL queries to retrieve, analyse, and manipulate data efficiently.
● Spearhead data-driven projects aimed at process optimization, identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements across the platform.
● Mentor junior data analysts in best practices for data analysis, database management, and SQL querying, enhancing the team’s overall analytical capabilities and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or a related field.
● Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, with a significant portion of this experience in a SaaS or marketplace environment, demonstrating the ability to leverage data towards impactful business decisions.
● Demonstrated proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS) and programming languages (Python, SQL), with a strong emphasis on SQL for database querying and manipulation.
● Expertise in database management principles and experience with database technologies, particularly MySQL, including the ability to design, query, and optimize databases.
● Strong skills in data visualization and the creation of dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau and Power BI, with an ability to translate complex data sets into comprehensible visual insights.
● Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, accompanied by meticulous attention to detail.
● Excellent communication abilities, capable of effectively presenting complex data insights in a clear, understandable manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
● Proven capability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with both independence and collaboration
