The Global Commercial Card team within GCS, is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives.

The listed job is an exciting opportunity for supporting the Commercial Card organization and be a part of Insights and Advisory team based in India (erst while Commercial Insights, Global Business Consulting). This team supports the Global and Large Market (G&L) clients of American Express across the globe. With the changing needs of our G&L customers and rapidly evolving competitive dynamics, this team is designed with the following objectives in mind:

·       Re-position GCS as industry thought leaders in core areas – as travel returns, clients are increasingly focused on sustainability, digitization of expense processes, and optimization of their travel and expense programs

·       Elevate and expand client relationships – leverage the power of data, insights, and strategic advisory to empower our Field colleagues and enhance relationships with our valued customers

·       Scale our offerings to serve more clients – create a unified product line to support core customer needs, and deliver it through both digital and bespoke channels to maximize our reach

·       The candidate will be part of the Digital Product Management team of the CIDP team reporting to a Director and will help define digital / scale insights product strategy & backlog for T&E Inights products

Purpose of the role

·       Lead & Build digital & scaled insights products for Travel Optimization

·       Lead PM Build & test offline prototypes along with UX teams

·       Lead PO role for new product / feature innovation along with tech

·       Partner with marketing for driving adoption (trigger alerts), SME for deep client discussions / new prototype feedback

·       Drive digital product engagement and usage

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead product development life cycle for Digital offerings for corporate clients.

·       Lead digital & scaled product build along with UX and tech teams – PO/PM

·       Conceptualize, develop and prototype new insights products/ product/feature enhancements for travel optimization

·       Build, Test & Learn offline prototypes for digital deployment

·       Prototype with clients  and incorporate feedback to enhance product

·       Drive digital adoption by conceptualizing and deploying strategies like data driven triggers etc

·       Play a lead role in strategy development for digital insights product

·       Develop strategy for E2E User experience to drive adoption and simplify user journeys

·       Support new product development though external research and track development of T&E insights products across the industry

·       Lead people initiatives across the team to develop and mentor talent

·       Lead initiatives and stakeholder management independently

·       Demonstrate thought leadership, ideation and strategic planning

·       Put together future 3 year roadmaps for digital product development and management

·       Mentor Band 30’s to match their career aspirations

 Qualifications:

·       5+ years of relevant work experience and preferably a Master’s Degree or equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Finance or Operations Research preferred. This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.

·       Preference to MBA and Post graduate candidates

·       Good knowledge of GCS Business, expertise in T&E industry domain preferred.

Experience:

·       Prior experience in digital product development/management, analytics and client facing role preferred

·       Prior experience working as PO/ PM/PMO

·       Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across multiple teams in Product management, Marketing, compliance/legal and third parties to drive results and business outcomes

·       Strong story telling skills, leadership communication, influencing skills.

·       Ability to lead highly skilled product development team

·       Self-starter, takes initiative, able to handle ambiguity and find logical steps to move forward
