Role Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and analytical individual to join us as a AGM -Strategy
In this role, you will work closely with the Global CEO and senior leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives that drive growth, innovation, and competitive advantage in the rapidly evolving e-commerce landscape. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategy consulting, exceptional problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and a deep understanding of the e-commerce industry
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the Reporting Manager and executive team to define the company’s long-term vision, goals, and strategic priorities. Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities in the e-commerce sector. Develop strategic frameworks and roadmaps to guide decision-making and resource allocation.
Business Analysis:
Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the health and performance of the business. Identify areas for improvement and optimization across various functions, such as marketing, operations, logistics, and customer experience. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop actionable insights and recommendations.
Strategic Projects:
Lead strategic projects and initiatives as assigned by the Reporting Manager, which may include market entry strategies, product launches, pricing optimization, and partnership development. Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure successful execution and implementation of strategic initiatives. Monitor project progress and performance against established goals and milestones.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and team members. Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior leadership and the board of directors as needed. Serve as a trusted advisor to the Reporting Manager, providing strategic guidance and support on key business decisions.
Desired Skills
- PGDBM/MBA in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a similar role, preferably in the e-commerce or retail industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw actionable insights.
- Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with exposure to financial modeling, market research, and competitive analysis.
Functional/ Leadership Competencies:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Clarity of Thought (Sequential/logical presentation in explaining a subject matter)
- Adaptability/Flexibility to change (New ideas/ new concepts)
Preferences/ Desirables –
Experience in e-commerce or B2C industry is preferred.
