What you’ll be doing

  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for your marketplace channels, aligning with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research, analyze user feedback, and monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, and other teams to prioritize features, define requirements, and drive product development cycles to execute your roadmap.
  • Lead the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timeline delivery on high-quality features and improvements.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of new features, iterating based on data-driven insights.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate updates on the product roadmap and progress.
  • Monitor and analyze marketplace metrics, identifying areas of optimization and implementing strategies to improve adoption, user engagement, and retention.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure product quality and optimal user experience before launch.
  • Plan, orchestrate and execute go-to-market activities, including product documentation, onboarding/activation plan, and operational support tools.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in product management working on data and insights products in modern B2B technology-driven SaaS and/or marketplaces.
  • BA/BS/MS in Business, Computer Science, Design, or related equivalent field/experience.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace dynamics, user behavior, and familiarity with platform technologies and API integrations.
  • Passion for the business success of customers and vendors, shortening time to value, and the craft of PM.
  • A committed desire to understand our users and rally around the problems we’re solving.
  • Effective at integrating feedback, facts, and needs into product recommendations, decisions, strategies, and launch execution across the product life cycle.
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders – You influence and inspire others who love working with you.
  • An entrepreneurial spirit – you are self-driven, accountable, and comfortable presenting to customers, prospects, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Egoless self-starter with great product sense, curiosity, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.

  • Experience with product management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira) is preferred.

Considered a plus

  • Experience in fleet / automotive / transportation software, vertical SaaS, or related space.
  • Experience in a range of segments and product life cycle stages, including optimizing mature products and building zero-to-one.
  • Experience creating a marketplace environment that brings buyers and sellers together for the exchange of goods or services.
