Officially launched in Nov 2021, Amazon Fresh is available in 100+ cities across the country. We are in early stage of the brands life-cycle and are looking for marketers who are customer-obsessed, result-oriented and aspire to lead the brand into the next phase of its growth.
This candidate will be the custodian of the brand, define the brand marketing & content strategy, and own the activation calendar across touch-points. They will also develop the content strategy for Fresh across channels & occasions. The candidate is expected to work closely with the central cross-category marketing team to build the right brand & media strategy, develop category insights and ensure right inputs for execution of campaigns. The Sr. Marketing Manager will also be responsible for the design, management and ongoing optimization of our content strategy for new channels and also monitor & scale them during large scale platform events as well as monthly grocery event.

This position will require a significant level of independent thought, an ability to embrace ambiguity and set a vision, a passion to invent and simplify and drive efficiency, and a zeal to enable the team to deliver a cohesive cross-channel and cross-category communication strategy. Most importantly, the candidate has to understand the importance of driving sustainable growth while being frugal!

Key job responsibilities
– Own the brand proposition for Amazon Fresh and bring it alive through on-site and external assets with the central & category teams
– Drive Awareness and trials for Amazon Fresh through marketing initiatives
– Drive consumer insights, be the voice-of-the-customer and drive a deeper understanding of customer triggers and barriers that drive product and service improvements
– Own marketing calendar for Amazon Fresh & develop robust processes for smooth execution of the campaigns through right category inputs
– Long term planning and development of strategy for always on content programs
– Work with central teams to raise the bar on fresh brand & event campaigns
– Develop go to market strategies including key propositions and constructs for the brand & campaigns
– Compile, analyze, and present performance metrics and surface potential opportunities for driving efficiencies
– Establishing guidelines and best practices across teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

– 7+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
– 5+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
– Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
– Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
– Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
– Experience communicating results to stakeholders

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

– Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
– Experience executing scaled marketing campaigns through email or social media
